CAP Therapeutic Drug Monitoring/Endocrinology Resource Committee
The Therapeutic Drug Monitoring/Endocrinology Resource Committee of the College of American Pathologists (CAP) is charged with the responsibility to promote the accuracy, precision, timeliness and overall quality of laboratory test results in the fields of therapeutic drug monitoring and endocrinology. The committee will do the following to meet this responsibility:
Maintain liaison, where appropriate, with other organizations concerned with therapeutic drug monitoring and endocrinology.
1. Develop, maintain and improve proficiency testing programs offered by the CAP
2. Review and, where appropriate, suggest revision to laboratory accreditation checklists
3. Monitor the state of the art and evaluate emerging trends in the fields of therapeutic drug monitoring and endocrinology
4. Provide expertise in the fields of therapeutic drug monitoring and endocrinology to the College, the CAP membership and other stakeholders in laboratory medicine
