CPOCT Division Connectivity

The Point-of-Care Testing Division has identified the inability to easily transfer data generated by POCT devices to laboratory and hospital information systems as a major impediment to ease of use and to future growth of point-of-care testing. It has therefore sought through its Industrial Liaison Committee to catalyze the formation of an industry consortium to develop open standards for POCT connectivity. Progress towards this goal is being made rapidly, as documented in the minutes of the Industrial Liaison Committee, as well as the Connectivity Industry Consortium.
