This highly attended educational event is held the last day of the
AACC national annual meeting and supported by CPOCT Division
though generous industry sponsorship which allows for nominal cost
to participants. A fantastic team has been very busy organizing the
event for this year, which will focus on The Role of Point-of-Care Testing in a Disaster (Plan). The session features a Medical Technologist
Health Services Officer who is involved in an array of missions related
to disaster and emergency response, including:
- An example of a Community based cooperative plan
- A hospital based plan
- A discussion of a guidance document under development
