Barbara M. Goldsmith, PhD., FACB is the Director, Alliance Laboratory Services (ALS), Director of Point of Care Testing at ALS, and Associate Professor in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of Cincinnati. She served as the Chair of the NCCLS Subcommittee that developed the document "Point-of-Care In Vitro Diagnostic Testing" (AST2-A).
