AACC provides input to the many different government and private sector organizations, and advisory panels, which are involved in making Medicare coverage and payment issues. The Association is a member of the AMA CPT Pathology Coding Caucus, which reviews and advises the medical society on new laboratory codes, and actively participates in CMS coverage and reimbursement decision-making processes.
