AACC PRESENTS
Updates and Case Studies in Volatile Alcohols, Glycols, and Clinical Alcohol Testing

Welcome to this AACC online activity! Four Powerpoint presentations are available to view for free. After viewing the presentations, you will have the opportunity to provide feedback and to obtain continuing education credit (ACCENT® or CME) using convenient online forms.

Our presenters are Drs. Tai Kwong, Thomas Rosano, and Leslie Shaw, expert clinical toxicologists who have spoken on these topics at several AACC conferences.

For volatile alcohols (methanol, ethanol, isoproponal) and glycols, you will learn: epidemiology, toxicokinetics, clinical symptoms, metabolic disturbances, treatments, and laboratory findings. The latest information about clinical alcohol testing, including point-of-care testing for alcohol, will also be covered.
