AACC periodically issues a call for abstracts for posters at some of its meetings.  The annual meeting is the showcase for most posters but we also solicit submissions on advanced technologies for the Oak Ridge Conference, and occasionally, for other meetings.

The calls for abstracts are issued through AACC eNews and through postings for each meeting on this website.

Annual Meeting Abstracts

We generally begin soliciting abstracts for poster presentations at the Annual Meeting in November of the prior year with an early January deadline.  Presenters are notified in April whether their abstracts have been accepted for the meeting.  Accepted annual meeting abstracts are published in a special supplement to the June issue of Clinical Chemistry and are maintained online for several years.

Oakridge Conference Abstracts

The Oak Ridge Conference features a poster session on emerging technologies with applications to diagnostic testing. Abstract submissions for the poster session open in October and close in January. The conference committee selects a limited number of abstracts for brief oral presentations.
