Midwest Local Section Awards

This award is a $1,500 cash award to be used for travel expenses and will be awarded to a student or trainee who is presenting an abstract at the 2017 the Association for Diagnostics & Laboratory Medicine (ADLM) Annual Meeting. Eligible applicants include medical technology students, graduate students, clinical pathology residents, and clinical chemistry post-doctoral fellows, full or part-time, from the Midwest Section.

To apply, submit the following:

1. Letter of application
2. Resume or CV
3. Letter of recommendation from advisor
4. Verification of student status (can be part of the advisor's letter of recommendation)
5. Abstract that was accepted for presentation at the Annual ADLM meeting

Midwest Section Travel Grants

This travel grant is a $1,500 cash award available for members who would otherwise be unable to attend the 2017 ADLM Annual Meeting, due to lack of funding or insufficient funding available. Eligibility for a travel grant is simple. You must:

1. Be a member of ADLM Midwest Section
2. Provide letter from supervisor or advisor stating why your situation requires travel money
3. Provide letter of interest stating why you would like to attend the national meeting
