2. Complete the online demographic form. Note: In the box in
the left margin, if a charge is indicated for obtaining continuing education
credit, you will be required to provide your credit card information for
payment of this fee. (Your contact information will be kept confidential
and will not be made available to any outside organizations).
Important Note: Florida clinical laboratorypersonnel
requesting ACCENT credit must provide their license number in the demographic
form in order to receive credit.
3. Print the Verification of Participation certificate. The evaluation
form and demographic form must be completed in order for this certificate
to be printed.

certificate, you are affirming that you participated in this continuing
education activity in its entirety.
AACC Continuing Education Program
CME Credit
AACC is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical
Education to sponsor continuing medical education for physicians. For
activities approved for CME credit, the number AACC-designated hours of
Category 1 CME credit toward the American Medical Association Physician's
Recognition Award will be indicated within the materials of the individual
activities.
ACCENT® credit
AACC offers ACCENT® credit to laboratory professionals to document
their continuing education and meet requirements for licensure or certification.
AACC is an approved provider of continuing education for laboratory professionals
in the states of California, Florida, Louisiana, Montana, Nevada, North
Dakota, Rhode Island, and West Virginia. The number AACC-designated hours
of Category 1 ACCENT® credit toward the AACC Clinical Chemist Recognition
Award will be indicated within the materials of the individual activities.
The American Board of Clinical Chemistry (ABCC) requires documentation
of 25 contact hours of continuing education credit annually in order to
maintain listing in the directory of active Diplomates. Fifteen of the
