AACC’s philanthropic foundation is called the Van Slyke Foundation, named after Donald Dexter Van Slyke , one of the founding fathers of clinical chemistry.  Funded through donations from individuals and corporations who share a passion for clinical laboratory medicine, the Foundation seeks to improve healthcare worldwide through a variety of grants and awards to deserving clinical laboratory scientists and students throughout the world.
