Improving healthcare through laboratory medicine

The lack of high-quality biospecimens is widely acknowledged as a significant roadblock to advances in clinical laboratory medicine. The National Cancer Institute (NCI) has been addressing this problem by developing a centralized infrastructure that will be a reliable source of biospecimens and best practice guidelines. But they and others in the field of biotechnology need your help. They need your specimens. Attend and know how you and your lab can contribute to the advancement of laboratory medicine and the understanding of health and disease through bio banking!
