Linnea Baudhuin, Ph.D. - SYCL Chair


Linnea Baudhuin, Ph.D. has served on the SYCL committee since its inception in 2004. She is Co-Director of Cardiovascular Laboratory Medicine and Assistant Professor of Laboratory Medicine at the Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN. Linnea received her Ph.D. in 2002 from Cleveland State University and completed a 1-year post-doctoral fellowship in Clinical Chemistry, followed by a 2-year post-doctoral fellowship in Clinical Molecular Genetics, both at the Mayo Clinic. Linnea is a Diplomate of the American Board of Medical Genetics, board certified in Clinical Molecular Genetics.

Linnea has a busy home life with her husband and young children. As anyone with small children can appreciate, the Baudhuin family enjoys outings to the zoo and going for bicycle rides, walks, and to the park. In her free time, Linnea enjoys running, reading, gardening, and bird watching.

Linnea has enthusiastically embraced her role as Chair of SYCL in 2006, and looks forward to the continued and growing success of SYCL!
