AACC recognizes and celebrates outstanding contributions through a strong awards program.  Most awards go to those in the laboratory field, but some, such as the lectureship award, are often given to people from other disciplines.  

This section is mostly about those awards granted by the association as a whole.  Note that AACC's sections and divisions also have strong awards programs as does the National Academy of Clinical Biochemistry (NACB).  Links to these are provided below.

The nominating process for AACC's major awards generally opens around October with a deadline of December 31 of each year.  The Awards Committee meets after the first of the year and typically announces winners before the beginning of March.  Watch for announcements about nominations and winners in your email and in AACC eNews.
